These caps, available for different jars, make the jars consumer-friendly.
No longer is it an effort to twist off a cap that was closed too tight, nor will you have to worry that is wasn't sealed tight enough.
These caps stay attached to the jar, and are impossible to misplace.
A Lid/Shive guarantees that the contents of the container you buy in the store wasn't tampered with.
